This full home gut renovation is an example of a true transformation. The homeowners wanted to update their dated, segmented home into a Parisian open concept that they could fully enjoy. Every inch of this space was touched and filled with gorgeous, high-end finishes.
We completely opened the space and installed a set of double pocket doors to separate the main living & dining space from the master bedroom. The kitchen was completely updated and reimagined with floor to ceiling cabinetry. White oak hardwood floors were installed throughout in a herringbone pattern to emphasize the pied-a-terre feel in the space. The reconfigured bathroom was expanded to create a gracious shower, large vanity with ample counter space and creative storage tucked within the wall.
Austin Roberts Construction took storage to the next level in this home and created custom full height storage in the dining and living room with articulated mouldings reminiscent of the typical wall details seen in european homes. A more simple version of similar storage was created in the bedroom, but left plain so the focus could be on the headboard wall and custom fireplace surround.
The renovation continued to the basement where a lackluster space was transformed into a cozy den which doubles as a guest room. The small bathroom in this space features tiles installed vertically and in a stacked pattern.
